1. Wipe the surfaces with the rubbing alcohol and the cloth. Avoid touching the areas to be painted; the oils in the skin could affect the paints' adhesion.
2. Trace and transfer the pattern.

1. Double load the 3/4" flat brush with Pure Orange and School Bus Yellow. Add a touch of Engine Red to the Pure Orange side. Using the flat side of the brush and keeping the Engine Red/Pure Orange to the outer edge, paint the large pumpkins.
2. Double load the #12 flat brush with Pure Orange and School Bus Yellow. Add a touch of Engine Red to the Pure Orange side. Using the flat side of the brush and keeping the Engine Red/Pure Orange to the outer edge, paint the smaller pumpkins.

Directions for leaves and stems:

1. Double load the #12 flat brush with Thicket and Fresh Foliage. Add a touch of Evergreen to the Fresh Foliage side. Using the flat side of the brush but staying on the chisel edge and keeping the Thicket to the outer edge, paint the stems.
2. Using the same brush and colors, but using the flat side of the brush and keeping the Thicket to the outer edge paint the large leaves.
3. Double load the #10 flat brush with Thicket and Fresh Foliage. Add a touch of Evergreen to the Fresh Foliage side. Using the flat side of the brush, paint the small leaves. Add a few smaller leaves using Thicket only.
4. Pull a stem into each leaf using the chisel edge and leading with the Fresh Foliage side.
5. Load the #2 script liner with inky Thicket. Paint a few curlicues.

Finish Tray:

1. Allow paint to dry overnight.
2. Squeeze a large puddle of Antiquing Polish in the center of the tray. Using the terry cloth towel and working quickly, rub the polish all around the tray.
3. Turn the towel often to remove some of the excess polish. Allow the polish to settle in the corners and crevices.  

Finish Mugs:

1. Allow the paint to dry overnight.
2. Bake or cure according to the basic instructions
