Materials:

• Patterned and textured paper of your choice (use purple and yellow paper, plus yellow stars for this look)
• Brads
• Black ink pad
• X-acto® knife and cutting mat
• Black pen

1. Cut your patterned paper to 5" x 6 1/2" rectangle and ink the edges.
   
   
2. Cover the slide mount with purple textured paper of your choice, then turn the slide mount over and use your knife to trim the inner and outer edges evenly with the slide mount. Ink outer edges.
   
   
3. Glue covered slide mount over yellow patterned paper, trimming outer edges only.
   
   
4. Cut out "true" and "friend" word fragments and glue angled on the yellow paper at the center of the slide mount. Add brads to ends.
   
   
5. Attach the slide mount to the right side of the paper rectangle.
   
   
6. Write "You're the best!" on the tag with the black pen and attach near the bottom of the slide mount with a brad.
   
   
7. Tie a bow and glue above the tag.
   
   
8. Attach yellow stars to border with mini brads.
   
   
9. Glue paper rectangle even with the card front.
