"Ott-Lite Art Window" Embroidery Project
We are thrilled to have Ott-Lite back in stock and this month we are featuring their popular task light with the HSN Exclusive Art Window. This is an opportunity to indulge your decorating dreams and customize the outside of the light. You may use lightweight fabric such as batiste or try your hand at embroidering scrapbooking paper.

Supplies:

  • Ott-Lite Vision saver Plus13 Watt high definition

  • Task Light with Art Window

  • Heavy scrapbooking paper

  • Embroidery Threads (preferably Melrose)

  • Sulky sticky stabilizer

  • Embroidery machine

Instructions:

  1. Peel stablilizer papers and place underside of hoop onto the sticky side of the stabilizer.

  2. Cut a piece of scrapbook paper 3 7/8” x 7 ¾”

  3. Center the paper in the hoop and press onto the sticky surface

  4. Thread your machine

  5. Choose your embroidery design. Check placement and stitch.

  6. DO NOT TRY TO PULL PAPER OFF STICKY STABILIZER. They have to stay together now and should be cut to match paper and stabilizer when the entire piece is peeled away from the hoop.

  7. Make small notches at corners, place paper in art window and snap window in place. You have the option to change it with your décor or with the seasons!
