Metals are the new vellum / M, CA

There is something about a metal foil that I love. It just makes my pages look more interesting. This colorcutter needs a bit more pressure than the other colorcutters but you use it the same way. Just point it into the paper and pull it back. You can feel it cut the metal and see it decorate the edge. You MUST let it dry for about 10 seconds or it will smudge. Try first on some scrap metal to get the feel. I teach this in my advanced scrapbooking classes.

I use these on metal foil to make shapes for my scrapbook pages and cards. It is much easier to use than a scissor. And they color the edge too. Very nice product. Follow the directions and you will get great results.

I wanted to make a scrapbook page that had a unique look. So I decided to add metal foil. The foil was difficult to cut and not krinkle. And I did not like the look. BUT THEN I FOUND THESE COLORCUTTERS! Now I easy cut and shape metal foils and get a finished and colored edge. My pages look awesome. I am using aluminum and tin foils. They are cheap and work great!

I began using tin and aluminum foil to make neat looking borders, frames and embossed elements for my scrapbook pages and cards. This product make it easy to do and the colors are wonderful. I love how it lets me draw my shape and cut it out at the same time.

I started doing ALTERED BOOKS and these are great. Cut metal foils and the ink shines! Really cool. They cut paper too but I like the matallics better for that. But for metal foils these are great.
