The mats are layered and sewn and then the final mat is sew as well. Once decorated it is all adhere to the other side as this piece is a double sided piece to slide into an accordion folder.

Taking my circle cutter I cut circles to match the composition of the photo and mounted it on the cardstock. Then I cut a 2" strip and decorated with metal words and ribbon. The other circles have journaling on them.
