The bag is designed very nice, but the oder from the bad with you take it from the bag is just terrible. I put it outside for 2 days, that helped just a little. I guess eventually the smell will disapear. I hope so. I will keep the tote - it''s really cute.

This is a very cute bag, with vivid colors and beautiful art work. As for the smell, it is definitely strong! I''m leaving it in my garage for a few days until the odor is gone. The smell appears to be from the vinyl lining. One thing to know, the measurements given are correct but because the zipper is 2 inches deep into the bag, it''s really 6 1/2 inches in depth to hold the contents.

This is more the size of a purse rather than a tote, which makes it perfect to carry. As my headline states, the colors are so vivid and they don''t come more adorable than this tote bag, especially for $12.00! I wouldn''t call the odor of the bag "FOUL" at all, just sit outside for a while and that will totally disappear! Certainly not worth sending the tote back! This is a keeper.....enjoy!

Purchased this one to give to a friend who is a dog lover. It is adorable with the wooden ornament and is priced well considering what I''ve paid for other Laurel Burch bags at full price. Regarding the smell, I just aired out the bag for a few days in my sunroom, and that took care of the problem.

This bag is absolutely adorable....but the smell is horrible...I''m assuming that it is from the dyes in the fabric...These items should be checked for foul odors before they are sent to the customer.....Hold your nose on this one....It just has to go back...
