good investment / lil'' ladee7/10/2008 I purchased this machine for my daughter because she recently learned how 2 sew. The machine she learned on was the singer singer precision. I read the customer comments and decided that this model was fairly close to what she was use to in her class. she was sooo excited when she got it.she''s eager to start more projects. I suggested that she make a few items and then sell them around the x-mas holidays.(pocket change for the school holiday break)!

LOVE TH IS MACHINE! / Rosemary, NY7/3/2008 I bought this machine in frustration because I had been working on a quilt and was spending more time fixing my old machine than sewing. I swear I took this machine out of the box, and finished my quilt that night. It is fantastic. And for all you novice quilters, this is the only machine I have ever machine-quilted on, I usually tie my quilts as it is quicker...not with this Singer, I have had fantastic results!

Excellent machine for the money! / Pamela, VA4/11/2008 This machine is quiet and handles well. The directions are clear and even a beginner can thread the machine etc. I have not tried the decorative stitches yet. The only drawback is that the pedal pauses if you pause stitching and it takes a moment to restart. Otherwise, you can''t go wrong for the price of this machine. I have a SInger that i have owned for 25 years. This machine was a nice up grade.
Simply the BEST!!!!! / Elaine, FL3/21/2008 I bought this machine mainly for the quilting stitch, and I am very impressed with it, actually I am very happy with all the stitches. This is my 11th singer sewing machine. My oldest one is from the late 1800''s. Singer is the best!!
