I was looking at much higher cost machines and decided to try this one when it was on sale and with Flex Pay...why not? It's been fun. Granted it was intimidating when I first took it out of the box and thought oh no what did I get into? I soon got over that and am embroidering designs quite easily. I think the hardest bit is getting the fabric and stabilizer on the hoops. Thanks Singer and HSN!

500 characters for a review.. JEEZ.. not enough! So, here's the short of it. THE MACHINE WORKS GREAT!!!!!!! It's my first time embroidering, I imported my company logo, tweaked the image and practiced for an afternoon with it. It's a gas, a lot of fun. I was nervous with nightmare reviews but all things worked out. Being a newbie to embroidering, the tough part was lining up the hoops and getting the stabilizer fabric to sit still. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!!!

About the embroidery mode, is a lot of headaches, starting for the software, i been having a lot of problems with it, each time i try to embroider something the software doesnt recognize the machine and I have to keep instaling the sofware each time i swich to an embroidery mode. plus it doesnt have a automatic cutter or on screen editing. another thing, each time the thread brakes, i got to get up from the chair to the computer to been able to sart the sewing.:(

I received this machine 3 weeks ago and it is absolutely awesome. Haven't sewn in over 20 years,plus I never used an embroidery machine. It was very easy to set up and use. Nervous about using the embroidery system, but it has been a breeze. Thanks HSN for giving us a great machine at a great price on flex pay. Had been in the market for a few years for a sewing/embroidery machine combo and they are priced much higher and no flexpay. I would recommend this machine to anyone. THANKS!!!

I bought a Futura 200 from HSN a year ago and I enjoyed it a lot.I'm so excited to be able to get the Futura 250. I unpacked the machine and was sewing my first embroidery project in 30 minutes. I love the advancements in the Futura 250 espectially the ability to combine patterns and see the sticting in progress.It's so nice that AutoPunch is included in the basic software.I hope HSN will offer the other software made especially for the Futura 250.
