I purchased this item after viewing on television what could be accomplished with this cutting mat. I received it recently and went to work on cutting circles for a card for one of my grandchildren. I absolutely loved the way the circles came out. I like the concept that it is a magnetic set. I also plan on using it for fabric. The price is a great value. A local craft store sells just the mat and ruler for over $30! I am extremely happy that I purchased this product.

The mat is OK but is much smaller than the one shown on TV. They must have used the larger mat that sells alone for $39 in the video. Cutters works fine; but to use the circle cutter properly you must stand up and use consistant pressure or it won't work. OK for the money but no great bargain.

I use the cutting mat as a desk blotter and added the cutting ruler to my "jar" of rulers and scissors on my work surface. the mat is so large and works well for any craft project! It's always available and the cutter, though initially hard to get used to, works well for my photo trimming needs. I do make several medium pressure passes with the cutter to ensure a clean cut and have not had any problems. I don't really use any of the other tools so I guess I shouldn't have purchased the whole kit. I never could use the circle cutter but i blame that on my own "lack of coordination".

The cutting kit is pretty good. The circle thing doesn't work that good, but over all I use it all the time. I've had it for 6 months I guess and now need a new blade so yes I like it.

I purchased this We R Memory Keepers Crafters Extreme Cutting Mat and Tool Kit a few months ago and have only used it about 2 or 3 times, the mat is one of the best things in the entire kit. I bought this mostly for the circle cutter because I loved how versatile it seemed on tv, when I tried to use it however, I was unpleasantly surprised at how poor it cut. the blade from the beginning was dull and actually tore the circle I was trying to make instead of cutting it clean and fresh looking. The two cutters were fair as they were not as lethal to the paper as the circle cutter. Definitely not my best purchase, will keep shopping with HSN, but taking a break from We R Memory Keepers :(
